Manufacturing Summer Camps:
Inspiring The Next Generation Of Skilled Workers
It takes fresh ideas. It takes money.
One of the fresh ideas I find appealing is sending young people to “manufacturing camp” during the summertime. These camps help adolescents and teens become aware of careers in manufacturing at an age when they are still choosing paths for their future. The money supporting these programs comes from individual donors and corporate sponsors. Major sponsors include the Gene Haas Foundation, Amada America and The CNA Foundation.
