RapidFit Inc., a provider of 3D-printed fixture solutions for the automotive industry, has purchased Advanced Machining Ltd., located in Chesterfield Township, Michigan, and plans to use it as its North American manufacturing center, producing CMMs and attribute-checking fixtures.

RapidFit Inc., a provider of 3D-printed fixture solutions for the automotive industry, has purchased Advanced Machining Ltd., located in Chesterfield Township, Michigan, and plans to use it as its North American manufacturing center, producing CMMs and attribute-checking fixtures. RapidFit is part of Belgium’s Materialise Group. Its RapidFit+ service provides customized jigs, fixtures and quality-control solutions to check the dimensional quality of car components and assemblies.
