Inus Technology and Basis Software have reached a strategic agreement that enables Basis to globally distribute a reverse engineering solution combining its Surphaser mid- and long-range 3D scanners with Inus’ Rapidform 3D scanning software.
Surphaser 3D scanners are designed to be portable and adaptable to operate in industrial and outdoor environments. They can scan objects from 1 to 70+ m away with sub-millimeter accuracy and can capture as many as 1.2 million points per second, Inus says.
