New Product Announcements From: 6/28/2007 Modern Machine Shop Milacron offers Cimguard 9C, a light-duty RP and solvent-type fluid that cleans rusted equipment and loosens frozen parts and corroded bolts and nuts. The product locks out moisture and wetness to inhibit the formation of corrosion on metal surfaces that are susceptible to decay, such as motors, pumps and other parts. In addition to protecting against decay, it lubricates squeaky hinges and slide mechanisms. The fluid also acts as a cleaner, removing rust and dirt from machine beds, chucks, ways, gears and internal machining parts. It dries fast, and it requires no mixing or measuring, the company says.
