The GENOS M460-VE machine features a double-column structure to deliver increased machining capabilities in minimal floor space, the company says. X-, Y- and Z-axis travel is 30" × 18.11" × 18.11" with a rapid traverse rate of 1,574 ipm. Standard features include a high-power, 40-taper, 12,000-rpm spindle with a 30/25-hp VAC liquid-cooled integral motor and a 32-position ATC. TheTAS-C/TAS-S compensation system minimizes thermal deformation, the company says.
Also available is the Multus B750 with 4-m bed, the LB3000-EX MYW horizontal lathe and three automated manufacturing cells. The Multus B750 is a large multitasking machine with a maximum turning diameter of more than 1 m (41.34" or 1,050 mm). According to the company, the LB-EX series of two-axis horizontal lathes is designed for strength, accuracy and flexibility.
Finally, the M460-VE and the LB3000-EX feature an operator-friendly THINC-OSP control – a true PC, Windows-based platform with open architecture, plug-and-work USB capability and 40 GB of memory. According to the company, the control makes it easy to connect to peripheral equipment and utilize other machine tool accessories, improving productivity and data gathering.
