Available from Andantex, the Redex DRPng and KRPXng axis drives are built on the cubic concept, which assumes that the machine frame is part of the drive itself rather than part of the machine. The two axis drives are embedded in their own cubic frames and can be fitted to the machine mainframe as if they were part of the frame itself.

Available in five standard universal sizes, the DRPng is a dual-drive solution that combines two planetary reducers in the same compact cubic housing unit. The design reduces backlash through a mechanical preload arrangement and simplifies the setup process when an electric preload system is used.

Also available in five standard universal sizes, the KRPXng is a compact single drive designed for reduced backlash. It can become a dual drive when used with an electric preload system. The drive offers a pinion height ranging from 75.9 to 135 mm.

Both drives feature an integral output pinion design with oversized output bearing said to increase stiffness. Output pinions are machined to the same diameter as the shafts, providing the optimal balance between the transmissible torque and rigidity at the rack. The output bearing consists of two preloaded and substantially oversized angular contact roller bearings, enabling the bearing to support the pinion as close as possible to the force, reducing radial bending.
