The Cecor sumpcleaner is battery powered, which eliminates the need for cords, plugs and hoses as well as eliminating emissions. The unit moves easily through plant aisles and around machine tools, and the rechargeable battery is said to last a full shift. The cleaners use high-suction lift to remove all coolant, chips and sludge in the sump within minutes. The filter separates solids from coolant, and the cleaner pumps cleaned coolant back to the machine tool sump or transports it to the central processing system. A lobe, positive displacement pump produces 110 gallons of coolant per minute. The 300-gallon tank features a five-cubic-feet capacity filter that can withstand as much as 800 lbs of solids. A tow-base with a pintle-eye hitch accommodates an in-plant tug or tractor.
