Share

The Thinbit Mini-Bore series now includes a carbide bar with a minimum bore of 0.160". Inserts are available in two grades of submicron grain carbide with TiN, TiCN, TiAIN and diamond coatings.

Additionally, the company has expanded the line to include carbide trigon bars, which are said to yield improved surface finishes, deep cutting depths and long extension ratios. These bars are available in 3/16", 1/4" and 3/8" diameters for WCGT style 0.156", 0.187" and 0.250" IC inserts.
