Boring Head Features Fine-Adjusting Resolution

The EWB-UP ultra precision finish boring head is part of a series of boring tools with fine-adjusting resolution (0. 00005" on diameter for inch-graduated heads and 0. 001-mm steps of diameter corrections).

The EWB-UP ultra precision finish boring head is part of a series of boring tools with fine-adjusting resolution (0.00005" on diameter for inch-graduated heads and 0.001-mm steps of diameter corrections). This feature is said to allow fine incremental adjustments where critical diameter tolerances are required—all without the use of a Vernier scale.

The series’ six boring heads allow users to bore a range from 0.787" to 3.94" (20 to 100 mm). The flexibility of the KA connection permits a range of spindle interface options. All bore ranges and tool lengths are identical to the company’s existing EWN program.
