The CNC 30i-B Series Control features advancements in operability and maintainability that include: USB memory port, enhancements in dual safety check, and punch press and laser functionality. For advanced machining with high accuracy, the control boasts advancements in high speed five-axis capabilities with architecture and software algorithms to reduce cycle times. The control also features “High Speed Smooth TCP”; high speed - multi-path PMC; enhanced tilted working plane and high speed smoothing functions; and arbitrary speed threading. According to the company, the control has enhanced FSSB and network performance, enhanced diagnostic functions for MTTR reduction and enhanced DSP for advanced servo control.
Also on display, the 0i-D or 0i-D Mate Control includes nano interpolation, Al contour II control, jerk control, and tool management and grinding functions. The 35i-B Control, designed for transfer-line machines, is equipped for simple high speed drilling and transfer machining.
The company will also highlight its five-axis volumetric error compensation, which increases machining accuracy by evaluating the tool location and orientation error throughout the machining volume. The company says this improves precision over axis-only error compensation.
