The Nishijimax NHC-850 delivers high speed, advanced metalcutting technology that can reduce cycle times to as much as 700 percent. These solidly constructed units cut more parts per hour and more parts per blade than a standard production saw. Both the X and Z axis are CNC operated via servodrive, amp, motor and precision ballscrew. The cold saw systems turn at a higher RPM with a longer chip load than any other sawing system.
The precision of the NHC-850 eliminates the need for secondary operation. It consistently produces surface finishes from 40-80 RMS. The 45-degree slant bed approach of the saw head travels on hardened and ground linear rails. Ceramic blade guides deliver six points of contact eliminating blade wobble and extending blade life while delivering repeatable cutting accuracies. The cold saw has a cutting capacity of 0.00” and maximum blade diameter of 0.00”.
An exclusive feature of the system is its unique CNC control of the spindle feed axis that operates via an AC servomotor with encoder as opposed to a hydraulic system where cutting fluctuations can occur from temperature or condition of the hydraulic fluid. Also, this CNC control provides faster setups and incorporates an easy to use touchscreen that provides a range of performance data, machine diagnostics and blade life.
