The compact marking head is completely sealed and enclosed in a protective cast aluminum case allowing the system to be mounted in virtually any orientation. Designed to use few optical components for increased reliability and to feature a longer source life, the air-cooled unit is said to eliminate maintenance concerns and reduce costs. A computer is not required during operation after the marking file has been created on the user-friendly software, the company says.
