Continuous Duty Gear Head

Share

The company introduces its Micron EverTRUE continuous duty planetary gearhead designed for higher speeds, longer life and continuous duty operation. The company says technology and custom lubrication allows the gearhead to last at least 30,000 hours or more, running 24 hours per day, seven days a week.

Most gear heads are designed for standard intermittent duty cycles. The company says their planetary gearhead is engineered to handle duty cycles at high speeds with no dwells.

The gearhead is available in three frame sizes--100, 140 and 180 mm--with ratio availability from 4:1 to 100:1. Additionally, the gearhead is designed to run at lower operating temperatures, compared to the industry standard, and has a specification of 4 arcminutes of backlash.

Lubricated for life, the gearhead features no maintenance, no leaks and no downtime. The gearhead is RediMount compliant, which features an error-free, three step mounting system. Each RediMount kit manufactured by the company is motor specific and not gearhead specific, making installation of any gearhead to any motor within the frame size quick and simple.
