Haimer will display its Cool Flash system, developed out of its existing Cool Jet system. According to the company, the system improves tool life, eliminates balls of chips on the cutting tool and optimizes runout accuracy. Coolant is pressed out by several slots, floats around the cutting tool and cools up to the cutting edge. The design is said to enable no additional unbalance and no disturbing clearance, and is suitable for high-rpm applications.
