GE Intelligent Platforms’ Proficy real-time information portal v3.5 is a web-based software that enables executives to visualize, report and analyze data in a secure environment from virtually any location. Users can create web pages in script without the use of HTML to browse and configure connections between advanced charting and analysis components with little or no programmatic knowledge, the company says.
The software enables executives to use variables within displays and data sources; change data sources on the fly, facilitating faster development of screens for multiple sites; configure pen names for more intuitive chart legends; and work with meaningful pen names when developing expressions. The system features 64-bit OS support and is more responsive to larger data sets than previous versions, the company says.
