The Model HE4232 disc holder is for use with the company’s Fixturing System 4000. It provides clamping of the polycrystalline diamond CBN discs.

This new device holds the discs flat and into the wire EDM machine. It is mounted to the quick-change pallet system, which allows for off-line setup and alignment. Two clearance holes on 50-mm centers are also provided for permanent mounting directly to the machine table.

The holder is designed for 2.35" diameter discs up to 0.2" thick. The distance from the bottom of the disc to the machine table is the same with either mounting so that accurate tapers can be cut.

Alternate versions of the HE4232 for varying diameter discs are also available.
