View MoreAvailable from WEN Technology Inc., the NeoGrid system features a two-pole design that incorporates neodymium rare earth magnets to provide good holding power. The chucks are available in three standard versions—NG50, NG75 and NG100—and are compatible with pallets or tombstones. Pole extensions are bolted onto the chuck face; they can be used to lift the part to provide clearance for through drilling, edge milling and back machining. These pole extensions can also be configured to facilitate part location and for magnetic side grip for holding small parts.
According to the company, the modular nature of the system is conducive to producing custom layouts.
