Electromagnetic System Enables Portable Marking

Pro-Pen, a Gravotech brand, offers the electromagnetic M7000 portable marking solution with Touch’n Mark technology. Featuring an integrated control unit and belt battery, the system is fully mobile and is said to enable intuitive programing on a 7" color touchscreen that can be used with gloves. According to the company, the M7000 offers a marking process of 10 characters per 3 sec. and is capable of marking logos; serial numbers; linear text; data matrix codes; and month, date or year codes.

The marking system offers two USB ports, memory for more than 2,000 files and five standard fonts, and is capable of importing 100 files in less than 5 sec., the company says. Available accessories include an M-Travel case, battery belt, docking station, lift ring for the balancer, cooling fan and screen protector.
