Ability says its 585 enterprise resource planning (ERP) software provides accountability for a variety of industries. Software capabilities include product life cycle management (PLM), operational planning, cost accounting, customer relations management, quality systems, financial planning, time and attendance, inventory, accounting, cash-flow forecasting, real-time shopfloor control and a material wizard.
According to the company, the software system can meet user expectations without dictating business practices. It also provides traceability for managing a massive amount of unconnected data in a structured, easy-to-access database. The software is said to provide decision makers with information to drive non-value activities out of the value stream and provide the capacity for future growth.
According to the company, it also supports a lean environment with tools such as strategy deployment, value stream mapping, standard work, pull systems and single-piece flow. These tools drive improved margins, cost reductions and working capital improvements, the company says.
