Release 2012.1 of Global Shop Solutions’ One-System ERP Solutions software features a rewritten forecasting system as well as additional tools for paperless operations throughout the plant.
The updated forecasting system enables users to automatically analyze customer spreadsheet data without manual intervention. The automated customer-demand-level scheduling integrates with existing forecasts, work orders and purchase orders. Forecasted work orders can create real work orders according to forecasting rules by customer and by part.
Other new features and updates include Global Shop Mobile for iPad, Android and Windows devices; additional software tools for the Global Application Builder module to eliminate manual spreadsheets and databases; and updates to Global Shop document control for a paperless office, shop floor and warehouse.
