Brush Research Manufacturing will be displaying its line of finishing and deburring products, including its Flex-Hone series, Nampower abrasive nylon disc brushes and miniature tube brushes.
It is said that the Flex-Hone finishes and deburrs any type or size of cylinder. These self-centering tools conform to the bore surface and provide a consistent, even surface finish. Available in nine abrasive types and 11 grit selections, the tools feature round, abrasive globules mounted to the ends of flexible nylon filaments.
The Nampower series of abrasive disc brushes are available in either dot or turbine configurations for light or heavy deburring. Two different trim lengths provide different levels of flexibility and aggressiveness. The brushes are compatible with automated machinery, CNC machining centers, transfer lines and robotic cells.
The company’s miniature tube brushes can automate deburring and the production of edge radii on small-diameter holes, saving time and money on a normally expensive and labor-intensive process. The 81 series is designed for through-holes as small as 0.032" (0.6 mm) in diameter.
