The UX570 five-axis gantry-style VMC is equipped with a bilateral table support structure. The dual-ballscrew design in the Y axis provides support for the 14,000-rpm (optional 22,000-rpm) spindle. A high torque built-in motor on the direct-drive table makes high speed indexing possible.
The UA2090 five-axis VMC is designed for complex machining of large parts. It features a 8,000-rpm, 50-taper, 30/35-hp spindle.
In addition, the company will complement the five-axis VMCs with two other VMC models. The FV1165 VMC consists of a Meehanite cast iron base paired with an inverted Y-shaped column. The SB216 bridge-type machining center is designed for large and heavy part manufacturers in industries such as aerospace and energy.
The company’s HMC line will be represented by the FH400J, which is designed for job shops and companies that have limited floor space but require high speed machining with a 40-taper spindle.
