Available from YMT, the Quickjet GTV-97 gantry-type vertical machining center is designed for high speed, high-precision applications. The VMC is equipped with a 24,000-rpm Fischer spindle with chiller powered by a 39-hp vector-controlled spindle motor. The spindle features an HSK-A63 taper interface compatible with the machine’s 20-tool ATC.
 
A one-piece casting with a double-wall box design provides rigidity. The X-, Y- and Z-axis travels measure 35.5", 23.6" and 19.6", respectively, and the cross-rail Y axis is guided by four linear guideways.
 
Additional features include an automatic central lubrication system; three internal temperatures sensors; spindle air and cutting air blast; pre-tensioned hardened and ground ballscrews; a 16-gal/min. chip removal system; and a 10.4" color LCD monitor with graphic display.
