Losma’s Master Series gravity bed filters for coolants are available in three models: the Master, Medio-Master and Mini-Master. The range is suited for centralized applications in machining processes including drawing, milling, polishing, grinding and washing.

The Master model is available in AB700, AB1000, AB1400 and AB2000 versions capable of treating 200 to 1,000 L/min. of neat oil or 400 to 2,000 L/min. of emulsions polluted by metallic and nonmetallic particles. The Medio-Master is available in Medio 600, Medio 800 and Medio 1200 versions. It offers flow rates ranging from 300 to 400 L/min. for neat oil and 400 to 1,200 L/min. for water-based emulsions. The Mini-Master is the smallest model and is available in M, L and XL versions. Its flow rates range from 60 to 160 L/min. for neat oil and 100 to 450 L/min. for emulsions.

The gravity bed filters feature a steel structure and continuous metallic belt pulled between two rotating disks. The filtering media is place between the disks and the belt. A double gasket is mounted on the external part of the disk and determines the systems’ hydraulic seal, preventing clean and dirty liquid from mixing. When the maximum level of coolant is reached in the filtration basin, the motor reducer enables the system to rotate and move the dirty filter fabric. Both mud and dirty fabric are collected in an external basin, while clean liquid is re-introduced into the machine for a new working cycle. Available options include pre-filtration with a magnetic separator, a container for clean liquid, a tank with pump for remote induction, and aspirators for eliminating smoke and vapors.
