Handheld Laser Scanner

Creaform has launched the EXAscan self-positioning handheld laser scanner which is especially useful for detailed laser scanning applications such as inspection and reverse-engineering that require high resolution and accuracy. The laser scanner provides a resolution approximately five times greater and accuracy twice as high as previous models, the company says. The EXAscan is equipped with three high-definition cameras to increase scanning resolution and data acquisition accuracy, as well as a new automatic multi-resolution function that enables the scanner to automatically set the optimum resolution level of the data acquired based on the type of surface it is scanning.   .
