Hanwha’s model XD20V CNC Swiss eight-axis lathe is a high performance version of its XD series. It comes standard with a Fanuc 32i-B control, five cross milling tools, two deep-hole gun drilling stations, a C axis on the main and subspindle, an eight-position backworking station with four live tools and a Y2 axis. A programmable B-axis tool post with three front/three back facing live tool spindles is available as an option. The XD20V offers a 10,000-rpm main spindle and a 1,600-ipm rapid traverse rate.
The XD20V was designed to machine close tolerance and multi-featured parts such as medical and aerospace applications.
