The USB Connect device acts as an interface between commercially available USB flash memory and any CNC control with an available RS-232 port. There are two models available: a portable unit that can be shared between CNC machines and a pendant model mounted directly to the control. According to the company, the USB Connect device can provide a virtually unlimited amount of storage capacity and USB functionality to the control.
Another device, the USB to Floppy Drive Emulator, provides users with an USB interface to replace disks. The unit works with 720 K or 1.44 MB media.
Other software at the show include Scheduler, a “real-time” scheduling software, and
Predator PDM product data management software.
