The BMC-110R2 CNC horizontal boring mill model features stress-relieved Meehanite castings for all major components and uses induction hardened box ways on all three axes (X,Y,Z). The headstock, column, base and cross-slides are lined with Turcite for its wear and slip stick characteristics. The machine is equipped with a 60-station automatic toolchanger and can be equipped with an optional 90-station tool magazine. It has a 56.69" × 62.99" worktable with a table load capacity of 13,889 lbs. A 35-hp, 50-taper spindle with a two-speed geared head is standard to permit heavy machining operations. The axis travels are 78.74" × 70.87" × 66.93" in X, Y and Z. The spindle diameter is 4.33" with a stroke of 19.69" (W axis). Precision glass scales are installed on all three axes. The 21iMB CNC unit and servodrive system by Fanuc are standard. Optional accessories include a through-spindle coolant system and a B-axis rotary table with contouring capabilities.
