Femco’s HL-35DMSY CNC lathe features a 23-station Durga turret, which is designed to reduce production time by providing enough live tools to complete complex parts without changing tools.

The machine features two spindles with a Y axis and 11 live tool stations. The dual spindle enables users to machine the inside and outside of a part to produce a complete part at one time. According to the company, this helps improve accuracy because the machinist is not moving the part to a different machine. The lathe has a 10" chuck, 2.93" bar capacity and 4,000-rpm spindle speed.

Typical applications include the medical, military aerospace and automotive aftermarket segments.
