Replaceable Tip Drills Offer Stability
The pocket design and clamping system on Ingersoll’s Gold Twist replaceable tip drills provide stable performance after multiple tip indexes.
Tip diameters range from 0.3937" to 0.7834" (10 to 19.9 mm) in 0.004" (0.1-mm) increments. The IN2505-grade drill tips feature a multi-layered PVD coating designed to enhance performance, improve wear resistance and increase tool life in a variety of applications. The geometry is designed for steel applications, and additional geometries for stainless steel, cast iron and nonferrous materials will be available at a later date.
