Kennametal’s Beyond inserts for its FixPerfect system are designed to improve toughness, wear-resistance and increase turning productivity.
The Beyond inserts for FixPerfect feature micro-polished edges, a post-coat treatment that reduces depth-of-cut notching, and a fine-grained alumina layer that enhances coating integrity at higher cutting speeds, the company says.
