Alibre CAM is a fully integrated, 3D parametric, personal CAD/CAM solution that is accessible and affordable, the company says.

The CAM program is integrated into Alibre Design, the company’s 3D parametric CAD product family, meaning there is only one interface to learn. This CAM solution provides 2½- to 5-axis CNC milling; profiling; pocketing; facing and V-carving; engraving; hole and thread milling. The solution also provides a variety of roughing, re-roughing and finishing operations such as horizontal, parallel and radial. Hole-making operations are also supported, including drilling, tapping, boring and reverse boring, along with animated toolpath simulation. All of the manufacturer’s CAM products come with numerous postprocessors as well as a custom postprocessor generator.
