One of the things we’re promoting at the show is the field service and rebuilding center that we opened about 3 years ago. We can now offer direct help with setups. The show also is a great chance to get together and talk to people who we distribute parts for and to meet face-to-face with a lot of the customers we talk to on the phone every day. It’s also an opportunity to get a better feel for where the market is and how other businesses are doing. It's a great place to network and build your business.

We've been lean and trying to make the most of what we had over the last couple of years, and lately things have started looking better. January brought us our best sales since October 2006. We're seeing our customers buying a lot more of the setup parts than before. Previously, it was more of the maintenance types of things, but now we see they're setting up to do new jobs. We've also been selling a lot of used machinery lately. And the quoting for the rebuilding and repair side of the business has been great. It's apparent that people are starting to spend money and do things to improve on the machines they already have. That’s good to see as we move through 2011, and PMTS is the ideal place to nail down the resources needed to be successful.
