The bedways are induction hardened and ground, and the slideways of the saddle and crosslide are lined with Turcite-B.
The company says that with this full featured lathe, making parts will be simple and fast. With the Centroid CNC control featuring Intercon Conversational software programming, cutting threads, grooves, profiles, chamfers, lines and arcs will be easy, according to the company.
The Centroid T400S control, with its high speed servomotors, gives users accuracy down to 0.00001". The control is network ready as standard, allowing users to connect to a LAN and instantly transfer files to the control; there is no drip feed.
