Mastip Technology (Booth 512) will showcase its TL35 nozzle, well-suited for larger-part molding that requires fast filling and high injection pressures. Threaded attachment to the manifold and nut insert ensures that the seal is maintained, even with demanding larger-component applications. This feature also facilitates a smooth thermal transmission between the manifold and nozzle, ensuring that optimal conditions are maintained and minimizing heat loss.
The configurable nozzle offers flow bores from 14 to 18 mm in diameter and length options from 150 to 600 mm. Flow-gate geometry of the YCN nuts are internally profiled to suit the thermal demands of the molded material, the company says. Individual heating zones are controlled by closely integrated thermocouples. For highly crystalline and temperature-sensitive engineering resins, gate temperature sensing also can be achieved by positioning an independent thermocouple directly at the nozzle gate level.
