The LG linear guide ball bushing from THK is said to offer high accuracy, smooth motion and high load capacities. Its rotation-prevention function, where four rows of circular arc grooves are arranged on the shaft, is included to ensure precise movement. This circular-arc-groove design allows for increased load carrying capability.

The linear guide ball bushing is dimensionally interchangeable with a linear bushing, as the outer tube has the same outer diameter as a linear bushing. Since the outer tube and the shaft are interchangeable, a combination of outer tube and shaft can be easily selected, the company says.

The outer tube diameter of the ball bushing ranges from 8 to 15 mm (tolerances from 0 to -0.011 mm), while outer tube lengths are 12 to 30 mm (tolerances from 0 to -0.2 mm). Shaft outer diameters range from 4 to 8 mm.
