Linear ID/OD Indicator Gage
For use on the shop floor, the Linear 100 is a high-precision, universal-length measuring instrument for rapid, high-accuracy internal and external measurements. With a direct measuring range of 2" (50 mm) and an application range of 4" (100 mm), the simple design makes it possible for the instrument to measure quickly and to adapt to new measurement tasks, the company says. For example, the instrument can be used to measure both lengths and diameters tasks such as measuring the dimension over two balls on gear ODs.

Key features include an adjustable 3" × 3" (76 × 76 mm) table for precise measuring position adjustment of the part when measuring ODs, and a 4- to 40-oz (1 N to 11 N) adjustable measuring force that remains virtually constant over the entire measuring range. The 4" × 7.3" (100- × 185-mm) worktable can be used for ID measurement. The integrated measuring system is based on the Abbe principle (meaning, the measuring arm and reference are in line), which is said to eliminate cosine errors.
Also available is the 36 B ID/OD indicator gage, a versatile bench-mounted indicator gage that can measure IDs from 0.75" to 9" and ODs from 0.25" to 9.5". Other products include surface, contour and form measurement systems; shaft measurement instruments; precision length measurement systems; air gaging; electronic and mechanical gages; and hand-held measurement tools.
