A reporting tool that allows shop managers to study the performance of their machines, vFactory provides information on the existence of bottlenecks, excessive downtime, reliability issues and more. Available from Amada America, the software provides a breakdown of each machine tool and its performance. Users can analyze a machine’s operating history to observe patterns between shifts or to determine the exact production time required per part or per job.

The graphically based system enables shop personnel to print necessary data in charts. This data is collected from the company’s AMNC controls without having to add monitoring equipment. It enables review of data by day, month or year; remote monitoring of machines or jobs; live video of a machine or department; and 3D shop-floor creation that is based on a library of solid-model machines.
