Kalamazoo Industries’ model S272V multi-purpose belt grinder is intended for grinding, shaping, contouring and more in small or short-run die-casting facilities. Suitable for small, intricate parts, the grinder features a 2" × 72" belt and 1.5" and 3" quick-change contact wheels. The versatile multi-position paten rotates 360 degrees for flat surface work, and the 1-hp, 3,450-rpm motor is capable of producing 5,400 sfm. Options include 5"- and 8"-diameter contact wheels, an 8" × 5" tilting cast iron table with slot, steel stand legs, a DCV-6 dust collector base and a variable speed motor.
