In addition to the company’s UltraTurn XL machine, AMT Machine Systems (Booth 542) will feature its new Lico Machinery line. The LNT series machines are rugged multi-slide, multi-axis production machines. Expect high productivity from the three to four two-axis slides, cross slides and an eight-hole, two-axis turret. These machines combine the best of screw machine speed with overlapping slide capability with the accuracy and versatility of CNC turning equipment.
The LNTS machine in the LNT series comes standard with a turret-mounted subspindle, gang tool backworking, high pressure coolant, parts catchers and conveyors, standard and live toolholders, and an air conditioned electrical cabinet. Options include a backworking turret, polygon generating tools from turret or cross slides, live backworking tools, chip conveyor, bar loader and oil mist collectors. Other models include optional Y-axis machining and an additional subspindle.
