New Product Announcements From: 5/4/2007 Modern Machine Shop Parker Steel Co. says it acquired a high-production vertical band saw to serve more of its customers’ metric metal needs. This automatic saw is capable of performing single or high-volume production cuts. The saw can cut pieces of virtually any length and has miter cutting capabilities. It is an automatically operated, PC-controlled machine with variable vise pressure. The company can cut metric-sized bars from 6 mm to 220 mm in diameter and beams as large as 400 mm in height.
