Fixtureworks will highlight its Imao quarter-turn clamp, a safety lock mechanism designed for fast setup and frequent changeover. The clamp features a cam and spring operation and provides up to 90 lbs clamping force. A lock function is available for added safety. The clamp consists of a glass-reinforced polyamide knob, 32-mm diameter nickel-plated steel body, stainless steel pin as long as 23 mm, and steel spring and cam receptacle with keyhole. The cam is positioned beneath the fixture plate with thickness ranging to 20 mm. When the pin contacts the cam, the spring is compressed to press down the plate.
