Zoller offers a range of cutting tool measurement and management products, such as its Titan, 3dCheck and Pom series of universal inspection machines for ergonomic and precise cutting tool measurement. The Titan uses five to seven CNC axes to measure outer contours of a variety of tools while documenting results. The 3dCheck is a six-axis CNC unit for 3D workpiece digitalization that eases comparison with a CAD model or a pre-scanned tool. The Pom series includes the pomBasic compact tool inspection unit for job shop applications and high-resolution imaging of small tools.
In addition, the company's roboSet automated tool inspection package uses a CNC-operated tool presetter capable of unmanned, 24-hour operation. It is also available with an automatic engraving tool shank option. For tool management, the Bronze, Silver and Gold TMS packages feature regrinding functionality to coordinate grinding cycles and incoming goods inspection. Tool geometries can be downloaded from the Tooldata-Cloud, which collects information from tool manufacturers and Master Tool Data pools.
