Replacement Spindles for High Speed Micromachining Operations

Designed for Star SR and SV series CNC Swiss-type machines, GenSwiss’ PCM high speed spindles turn as fast as 15,000 rpm in micromachining operations. Available as a replacements for OEM spindles, the PCM cross drill/mill spindles work with both micro-drills and end mills. They are direct-gear-driven from the live tooling motor for increased torque and speed. The spindles are said to provide improved surface finishes, faster part cycles, decreased burrs and greater productivity. According to the company, the spindles are maintenance-free due to their sealed design.
