AutoCrib will showcase the IntelliPort Lite radio frequency identification (RFID) portal. Designed to be cost-saving, the IntelliPort Lite mimics the traditional IntelliPort, but it is meant for smaller crib environments. Placed at a gateway point, the system is designed to securely track the movement of products in and out of a controlled area, 24/7. It is well-suited for companies who want to record movement of an unlimited number of items from supply rooms or tool cribs that require an RFID portal with a smaller footprint.
The company will also introduce the TX750 dispensing machine featuring flexible rolling dual tambour-style door, which is said to virtually eliminate the vertical bin height waste associated with fixed-door machines. Its capacity has been increased to accommodate 1,300 bins in a very small footprint, the company says. Using a rectangular bin shelf system, the machine is designed to dispense square boxes and other MRO-related items with no repackaging required. A system for configuring the machine is also included.
