Rotary Transfer Machines Produce Precision Parts

Buffoli Trans-Bar horizontal-axis transfer machines produce precision parts from non-rotating bars or tubes (round, hexagonal or profiled). The machines produce either simple parts in less than 1 second or high precision complex parts with the shortest cycle times—up to six sides and four to five interpolated axes, with precision turning, milling and any other operations needed, including quality control and assembly operations. Cycle times depend on the number of spindles simultaneously machining. Machines with as many as 60 spindles and 24 work stations are available.
