Raptor Workholding Products will display the RWP-502, part of its expanded workholding product line. The self-centering vise features basic dimensions of 165 × 100 × 75.7 mm (6.5" × 3.94" × 2.971") and weighs 14 lbs.

The vise is designed to provide reliable, consistent workholding. The product automatically positions a workpiece with a centering tolerance of ±0.013 mm (0.0005") and a repeatability of 0.001".

The machine is equipped with reversible master jaws that widen from 63.4 mm to 142.8 mm (2.5" to 5.62") to accommodate a variety of workpiece sizes. The master jaws are adjustable from either end using a 12 mm socket wrench for easier access. There is a slot on each master jaw to accommodate a variety of inserts such as thin and thick parallel, dovetail, serrated, talon grips and soft jaws, all easily assembled with a FHSC.

The vise utilizes two Mitee Bite Loc-Down Screws for quick-change capability. The vise base features four receiving holes: two for the Loc-Down Screws and two for dowel pins that are used for centering and locating. The product uses clamps to hold the workholding to the machine table/pallet. Clamping rails on each side of the vise are available as an alternative option.

The company will also display its dovetail fixtures to machine five sides of a workpiece, and its pinch blocks for machining the sixth side of a workpiece for dovetail removal or for secondary machining.
