Cecor introduces the 60-gallon Sump Shark sump cleaner. It is designed for cleaning machine tool sumps in shops with limited space. The cleaner’s vertical design allows it to fit in tight areas, through crowded aisles and around corners. Fork pockets allow easy transport by fork truck.
The cleaner features air-operated venturi that generates suction to 26″ Hg and a pumping rate of 70 gpm. The cleaner sucks fluid, chips and sludge out of a gallon sump in minutes, the company says, and can remove even heavy sludge from the bottom of a sump. The filter catches metal chips, fines and sludge. After emptying the sump, users can pump coolant back to the machine tool or transport for recycling.
