Monster Tool will introduce the APG-series solid carbide end mill for general-purpose and high-performance applications. Features include a variable helix, unequal index and a multi-layer AlTiN coating.
The company will also display a 4×D high-performance drill and a series of end mills for aluminum.

With PCD tooling, yes it can. The diamond cutting edges demand a large number flutes to realize their full effectiveness. Traditional methods for making cutter bodies limit the number of flutes, but 3D printing is delivering tools with higher flute density and other enhancements as well.
