The South Bend Model SB1051F Heavy 13 EVS toolroom lathe features 13.38" swing over bed and 40" distance between centers. It includes a Fagor ProKit two-axis digital readout (DRO), a 3 V-way bed constructed of precision hardened and ground Meehanite cast iron, and a coolant system with pull-out chip tray and a full length, rounded-corner splash guard.
The lathe also features a foot brake, chuck safety shield with micro-switch shut-off, and adjustable feed rod stop. The D1-5 spindle is powered by a 5-hp, 220V, three-phase motor.
